Brief an Herrn Bürgermeister in Mimasaka am 25 März 2019

Dear Mr. Mayor SEIJI HAGIWARA,

last year, on 6th April 2018, I had the honor to talk to you. Through the conversation I got to know your different and extensive tasks in the beautiful city of Mimasaka.

With this letter, I remind you politely and respectfully to reconsider the permanent exhibition of the Ho Chi Minh statue in the Mimasaka Museum. I appreciate your preference for the Vietnamese people. Nevertheless, we cannot identify the Vietnamese people with a communist dictator. The people of the country still suffer from the oppression and injustice of the one-party system. The wealth of the party members is a clear proof of corruption.

On behalf of the freedom loving Vietnamese people, I ask you to stop the exhibition of the Ho Chi Minh statue in your city. Please let the visitors of the Mimasaka Museum understand a true and accurate depiction of Vietnamese history instead of promoting propaganda.

Sehr geehrter Herr SEIJI HAGIWARA, Bürgermeister der Stadt MIMASAKA,

vor einem Jahr, am 06.04.2018, hatte ich die Ehre, Ihnen einen Besuch abzustatten. Ich habe damals durch Sie kennengelernt, dass die Ausführung Ihrer Aufgaben in der schönen Stadt Mimasaka vielfältig und umfangreich ist.

Mit diesem Brief bitte ich Ihnen nochmals höflich und respektvoll, die Dauerausstellung der „Ho Chi Minh Statue“ im Mimasaka Museum erneut zu überdenken. Ich weiß, Ihre Vorliebe an dem vietnamesischen Volk zu schätzen. Nichtsdestotrotz kann man sich nicht das Volk mit einem kommunistischen Diktator identifizieren. Die Menschen in Vietnam leiden bis heute immer noch unter der Unterdrückung und der Ungerechtigkeit vom Einparteisystem. Der Reichtum der Parteimitglieder ist ein eindeutiger Beweis der Korruption und Machenschaft.

Im Namen der Freiheit liebenden Vietnamesen rufe ich Sie auf die Ausstellung der Ho Chi Minh Statue in Ihrer Stadt zu beendet. Bitte lassen Sie die Besucher des Mimasaka Museums eine wahrheitsgetreue uns genaue Wiedergabe der vietnamesischen Geschichte zu verstehen, anstatt ein Stück Propaganda zu befördern.

Ich wünsche Ihnen und Ihrem Gemeinderat viel Kraft, viel Erfolg trotz der schweren Bürde Ihres Amtes.
